Prior Experience
Shaunna Green M.ed., Purpose Guide, Adjunct Faculty J.F.K. University College of Psychology
Shaunna Green has been helping people unfold their unique paths for more than 20 years. Her skills initially took form as a classroom teacher in both suburban California Distinguished schools and in urban L.A. schools working with beautiful souls in underserved populations and later as a specialist working with souls facing diverse learning challenges, as well as with teachers developing district-wide curriculum. Her work utilizing inquiry to help others co-construct their emerging individual life journey has evolved into purpose guiding as a mentor for Purpose Guides Institute and in higher education facilitating Masters degree students of Consciousness and Transformational Studies. She is perpetually awed by new growth toward the realization of wholeness and its impact. This drives her to continue to aid in discovering and illuminating the powerful beauty each person possesses in their true nature. She lives with her husband, two children, and dog and is found dancing, dancing, dancing, and often hiking, and singing.
My Story
I love to help people see the beauty they don’t see about themselves. I want them to know themselves at full power so they can connect that to their joy and make the a world better place.
In my own journey, I danced as a member of a ballet company as a teen, but instead of pursuing it as a profession, went to college and got degrees. At first, teaching allowed me to use my gifts with inquiry and deep listening to help children grow into themselves more fully, but the more I worked in the system, the more constrained it felt. I went through years of feeling a disconnect between who I was and the work life I had. I experienced a brush with death and a series of health stumbling blocks that compelled me to reevaluate my life. I left my job and found myself at dance classes across genres (ballet, contemporary, samba, salsa, African, jazz, hip hop) constantly. I began to realize that dance was integral to my health and well-being. I underwent my own Purpose Discovery process and connected deeply with the natural world inside, outside (with hummingbirds!), and through my body to uncover my true path as a purpose guide. I found that my years using inquiry with students and teachers honed my skills for purpose guiding. I now use connection to the natural world inside, outside, and through the body to help people discover their own extraordinary wholeness.

Shaunna spent time with me and held space for me and guided me through all the steps. The guided material was excellent but it was the human connection of Shaunna's witnessing that helped me solidify and anchor the process in my life. My ultimate solo experience of the program was the day-long soul quest and the beauty of spending that much uninterrupted time dedicated to and communing with Soul.
